“I’ve been MIA as I work diligently on INSIDIOUS…I can’t express to you how much I’m loving this book. I will admit it was VERY difficult for me to move away from Tony and Claire. They’ve had residence in my head for four years. But I have to tell you…Victoria is something else! She is amazing, tough as nails, cunning…well, let me just say…she’ll do whatever is necessary to get what she wants or whomever!
I don’t want to say anymore…I’m out of here for a while.
Please get as excited as I am for INSIDIOUS!! It’s COMING!!!”
Claire Wallis just sent me this fun tidbit:“Did ya hear yet? PUSH #2’s official title is PULL. Will have a release date and cover soon!!!” <— *squeeeeee* This is ONE cliffhanger that had me on that excited edge. So worth it. Here’s my 4.5 star review of book #1: Push
“This is the Mafia. Lines are blurred. Choices are never black and white. And the life you thought you knew is… one giant lie. He was dead. And I didn’t want his life to be in vain, so I tried to make something of myself. I tried and failed. Now he’s back. Alive. And he wants something… Me. Nobody ever said the mafia played fair. Welcome to The Family. ” Eeeeeep!! 😉
Okay so it’s not just “sales” but every book on here IS bargain priced. We’ve got some great looking new releases from this weekend too, so I thought I’d compile us a little “early” list. 😉
The Devil’s Contract (Contracts & Deceptions Book 1)
*sniff sniff*
Welp. It was pretty fantastic.
*sniff sniff*
*glares at all of you that recommended this!!* Glares? Thaaaaaaaaaaaat’s right!!! GLARES!
(<— it was a much angrier-looking smiley, but “Bright Side” taught me not to indulge that kind of face and emotion, so… you know. It’s a “baby glare”).
Lin: You.guys!!! You must pick up Bright Side by Kim Holden. I’ve never ugly cried so much since I’ve read Arsen. What a beautiful book!! Make sure you have tissues ready!!
It would appear a TON of recent releases are rocking our worlds, and I’m bringing the extra-recommended ones back on here so that they don’t get lost in my TBR list. LOL! There are 4 on here that had me bouncing in my chair on release day, on the blurbs alone, so I must adjust my reading schedule.
Okay so right now, this one is probably the most recommended book (at least per the recs I’ve received in comments and emails), so I’m reading this one right now: Bright Side (no idea what it’s about yet – I’m going in blind and I’m about a quarter of the way in, but I’ve been warned to stock up on kleenex). I mean, just LOOK at what Meredith just commented: “I downloaded “Bright Side” two days ago and CANT. PUT. IT. DOWN. I have loved ALOT of books, but this one has a special place in my heart. The characters are so LOVABLE and the story SO tragic!! I will read it over and over and over. Its one of those books, that just stick with you long after its over. I rate this one right up there with all my favorites, this author is just incredible!! Even if you don’t review it, READ IT!” <— How can I resist!!?? And then Melanie commented saying: “Based on reader recommendations I decided to give Bright Side a try. I went in knowing there would be tears. The thing no one mentioned was how many tears. I can’t remember crying that much reading a book. So fair warning, bring a box of tissues with this one. I think I cleaned out the whole box of Kleenex.” <— Oh boy. My stomach hurts already….
