By Leave a Comment

About the series:

Fifteen-year-old Megan Berry is a Zombie Settler by birth, which means she’s part-time shrink to a bunch of dead people with a whole lot of issues.

All Megan wants is to be normal – and go to homecoming, of course. Unfortunately, it’s a little difficult when your dates keep getting interrupted by a bunch of slobbering Undead.

Things are about to get even more complicated for Megan. Someone in school is using black magic to turn average, angsty Undead into flesh-eating Zombies, and it’s looking like homecoming will turn out to be a very different kind of party – the bloody kind. read more

Ohhhhh WOW!! I’m almost done this book (Rock Me), and I had to tear myself away at 2am to get some sleep. I didn’t want to. I wasn’t even tired. This tattoo’d bad-boy had my adrenaline racing! Oh he might not be a “rock star” but he’s right up their alley.

I’m loving this story. Even shed a few tears. And you know I gotta review it. It’s all pent up inside me, building pressure. So I’m gonna finish tonight, and then let you have it! In the meantime, just know I am thoroughly enjoying myself… read more

Book Review – Nyx In The House Of Night Edited by P.C. Cast (plus a Book Giveaway)

Nyx in the House of Night: Mythology, Folklore and Religion in the PC and Kristin Cast Vampyre Series
Edited by P.C. Cast? Yup. This isn’t another actual book in the series, but a companion of sorts. This one was sent to me by the publisher, (actually, TWO, one for me, and one for a lucky commenter), and I quickly realized it is a compilation of “works” (essays) by other authors, and professors. Analyzations and comparisons of past related folklore and mythology. Greek, vampyre, witches, the history of some Oklahoma landmarks that inspired the places in the story, Cherokee customs and beliefs, even… the history of cats (poor things, worshipped as gods and then despised as demons, and then… well we cuddle ’em now 😉 ) read more
