Book Review – Fearless by Lauren Gilley

Fearless: The Complete Novel (Dartmoor Book 1)
Over 850 pages worth of bad-boy… NO!!! Bad-ASS biker grit, and I didn’t squirrel!! It was good! I do get what had so many in our reading crew in a reading frenzy and book fog, many of ’em unable to start anything else but MORE like this, once they finished it. Why? ‘Cause after hours and hours and days upon days of reading, by the end, you feel like you’re a part of their world!

In fact I read it for 4 or 5 days straight, finished it a couple of days ago and still don’t know what to pick up next. Where do I go from here? 😉 read more

<— This gritty bad-ass biker book (Fearless: The Complete Novel (Dartmoor Book 1) is making a few in my reading crew crazy! Happy, gritty, book-fog CRAZY!!! And I must read it now. NOW I tell you. Sure, I’ve just heard of a it a few days ago when Kandace fell in love with it, and sure… this was NOT a part of my latest and greatest TBR list, but how can I possibly resist when I am told stuff like this?

Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny

I went back to my roots for this one and boy did she have a LOT to get off her chest. Haha. See what I did there? Roots? ‘Cause they’re blond. Chest ’cause… er.. well. *snort* Okay okay, rolleyes YESSSSS my corniness knows no bounds. 😉

But I did go back to my roots, with this one for real! My favorite books throughout my whole reading life were autobiographies (before I discovered romance books, of course). I always loved that “look” behind what the cameras showed. Or that journey into someone’s harrowing life. Someone that could have been us, ya know? What made these people (celebrities, or even those that had a story to tell due to a life circumstances) who they were, who they are… what made them tick, and all of the heartache and pain (or joy and growth) it took to get there. Looks like my fellow readers are antsy for more personalized reader recommendations! This is getting to be a weekly favorite. I knew it would, ’cause there’s nothing better than 1.) Getting to know our book-buds and 2.) finding out what their favorite books are. After all, if we have similar tastes, these very books might just rock our worlds, too!
