Otherwise Unharmed (Evan Arden)
*spoiler alert* While I pretty much wrote this review “in code” (no outright spoilers below) 😉 I still feel the need to have anyone who hasn’t read the earlier installments in the series to avoid this review. Instead, I suggest you consult the Evan Arden Series Reading Order (yes they MUST be read in order as this story is a progression in his “bad-guy” life, and this book is the conclusion to the series), and maybe read the review of book #1 (Otherwise Alone). As a whole? A GREAT GREAT series. I LOVED it!
My Book Reviews
Book Review – Beautiful Broken Rules by Kimberly Lauren
Beautiful Broken Rules (Broken Series Book 1)
Okay so I liked this one! It’s been often recommended (especially lately, probably because of the recent book #2 release), and I was happy to indulge myself. And even happier that the author indulged us, too!
Lisa: My favorite book this year is beautiful broken rules!
Lindsey: I loved Beautiful Broken Rules by Kimberly Lauren. I can’t wait for the next one to come out!
Jillian: Beautiful Broken Mess released a day early! First book in the series is Beautiful Broken Rules – which was great!
Book Review – Sex Love Repeat by Alessandra Torre
Sex Love Repeat (UPDATE: This book has now been renamed “Undertow“)

<— Now THAT was a good movie!!! 😉 Er… I mean, book. Yep, you guessed, it. It played out so well I forgot I was reading. In fact, this book just came out today, wasn’t anywhere near my book radar (I had no clue about it) until Jules posted a link to it exclaiming it was LIVE. I was all.. “well she sounds excited, so let me look this up.” And the blurb absolutely teased me. Enticed me. SOLD me.
Book Review – Aftermath by Cara Dee
Aftermath
<— You just know from the cover that my eyes popped with reading glee, when I saw it. Dark looking, intriguing, and that title? “Aftermath“. Whoa. This was going to explore some depth, I just knew it. Not just “dark & psychological” (I love those!) but a potential romance of the M/M kind.
Two men that survived a kidnapping, forming an emotional bond so deep, that they continue to need each other, after the fact. We’ve heard about this kind of thing before. Maybe not Stockholm Syndrome, but certainly… right up my alley!
Book Review – Mine by Katy Evans
Mine (The REAL series book #2) *slight spoiler alert* If you have not yet read book #1, skip this review as this is the sequel. If you love MMA fighter super-stars that are uber-alphas and are big with the whole “claiming” thing… if you love lots of angst and drama, this series just might be for you! (Here’s my review of “Real” —> book #1)
Mostly… I really liked it, because of Remy. He made my stomach swirl and my heart skip beats with his extreme-intense self. His big, sad, LOVING heart. His overwhelming heart. But being overwhelmed by a character like Remy just seems to work for me. 😀
