Book Review – On The Island by Tracey Garvis Graves

On the Island: A Novel
This book has quite a little buzz about it, and Tina and I went all out yesterday. Well me, more like last night, after work until 2am. I started it at 8pm and didn’t put it down once, until I was done. It is soooooooooooo good. No. SO much better than that. It’s awesome!!!! I’d even say it makes my “Best of the Year” list, and I will probably think about it forever. And ever!

Cherise Sinclair – Masters of the Shadowlands Series Reading Order

Okay. Here’s one for you if you like it a little… “alternative”. I’ve read a few of ’em and they were quite fun!

As per my friend Michele:

“I have a series that you may also like. It’s called “Masters of Shadowland Series” by Cherise Sinclaire. LOVE THEM!!! There are 6 & a few more on the way, I think. It kinda reminds me of the Black Dagger Brotherhood in the way that each book is about the different Master but the others are in every book too. (Except NO vampires… Only Masters…. LOL)… I really LOVE the Masters!! Talk about some SERIOUS ALPHA males.” read more

Book Review – Defying the Odds by Kele Moon

Defying the Odds (Battered Hearts Book 1)
Ohhhhh yes. ALMOST. Almost there, with this one. Just THIS close (I’m pinching my fingers together *this close* – see?) to squee’ing over him. He is SO close to making my top ten heroes, but I didn’t quite get enough of him to feel like I knew him that way, ya know? I think had there just been a few more quiet, intense moments, longer, drawn out “infatuation” period, I would have been wrapped up in him completely. But that aside, I still loved this book, because the moments that were there, were perfect. read more

Book Review – Fury by Laurann Dohner

Fury (New Species Book 1)

This one (book#1 in the “New Species” series) came highly recommended by my friend, Tina and I must admit, I loved it too. Interesting premise, awesome intensity between the two main characters, and some all-too familiar “social issues” were explored. And of course, he’s an uber-alpha. BIG TIME. Even more so then the alphas I’ve been enjoying lately, but there’s a reason why this one takes it a step above our “human” bad-boys. Because number “416” (later known as “Fury”) is not entirely human. read more
