) I knew I had to post this now. ‘Cause you know how much I LOVED this book! (Here’s my review). This is a MUST READ (AND A STANDALONE) my friends!!! He’s young, sexy, successful… and now he’s blind and so angry and reclusive. And she’s the assistant hired to help him… OH YES!!! You can imagine the fun she has to deal with.
<— Look what was just released today (from one of my “old-school paranormal” favorite series days). This was my first choice to suggest as a “What to read if you love the BDB…” had a similar feel, and had me swooning in all that alpha-vampire romance angst. Human women, with a “mark” that (unbeknownst to her) meant she was meant for one of these vamps. And this is the latest one!
What I’m currently reading? I have NO idea yet… I’m feeling all thriller-like, and there’s one below that has sparked my interest BIG time. I was still recovering from my latest much-loved read (p.s. here’s my review of Rush by Emma Scott), but I’m now ready to move on!! But consider this MY own personal recommendation today! 😀
Wattpad is where so many of our favorite authors started… posting their works in progress, their fan fiction, and their completed stories for all of us book-lovers to read! FREE. I said it. Everything on there is free for us to read, and the author put it there! Some of them even post free novellas (from their popular series). Like Colleen Hoover (I linked hers up below). 😀
It kind of reminds me of Fictionpress, in fact, which I was obsessed with back in 2009 (when I was looking to read more of the Sookie & Twilight worlds, and discovered all of that fan fiction) to 2011, when I discovered more “bad boy” romance. Where I indulged my senses in my beloved romance angst love triangles, a la Thoughtless, and Avoiding Commitment, and even Fifty Shades of Grey (although back then it was called “Master of the Universe” on that site. Yep! Some of ’em started as “free reads” for me, back in the day on sites like Wattpad!
Wow… I have NO clue what I’m picking next. And it’s gotta be a good one ’cause I wanna record my weekly reaction video. 😉 Tee hee! I’m always so embarrassed, but it’s fun, ’cause it’s exactly how I am. I did end up reading a latest release from this week’s list (from one of my favorite authors) and while it had her signature super-unique, detailed steam that never fails to blow my mind… I was left a little indifferent towards the story as a whole. *sigh*. I’ll review it today.
