Happy new release day!!! 80+ new books on today’s list with plenty that I couldn’t help but highlight. Couple that with yesterday’s 20 earlybird releases and we’ve got over 100 new books to peruse. 😀
Which ones gave me a blurb jolt? Melt for You (she’s in love with her boss, and is desperate to get his attention, and then a Rugby player moves in next door, all too willing to help ;)), The Optimist’s Guide to Letting Go (By the author “The Coincidence of Coconut Cake” about an upbeat widow working in her food truck and struggling with her mom and daughter, and she stumbles across a secret…) The Wright Love (<— K.A. Linde’s latest… and it sounds angsty and beautiful! This one is about a grieving widow and her child… and the man that wants to take care of them), How to Walk Away (She ends up in the hospital and her whole life seems like it will never be the same again…), Vanilla & Vice (oooooh sounds SUPER-STEAMY!!! He’s trying to let go of his Dom tendencies, and then he meets the most “vanilla” girl, and “…I’m into all things dark and filthy, but innocence is my kryptonite. She’s virtuous and vanilla, and vanilla is my VICE...” *waggles eyebrows* 😉 ), The Favorite Sister (psych-thriller!! Two sisters join a reality show, but one is murdered…)

Tessa Bailey’s “Disturbing His Peace” – this hero is the bossiest, most obnoxious, jealous, demanding, and possessive alpha-male I’ve read in AGES. And the most convincing. I wanna hate him because… I. AM. APPALLED. Ohhhhhh THE NERVE of him!!! AND YET I AM SO INTO HIM!!!!!! Tee hee. I can’t stop highlighting!!! P.S. And yet he is so SWEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! Oh he makes me *swooooooon*
Marina: It’s been this slow tease reading about Danika and the Lieutenant and I NEED to know what happens with them!!! So excited to read. It’s been a great book roll.

Jen C: …utterly adored the two main characters. Funny and entertaining as I now expect from Rachel but had some deeper things going on to really give the book a bit of heart.
