I just finished Happily Letter After by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward! It was so good

Ashley: I read Anatomical Shape of a Heart yesterday at my infusion and omg! Best book I’ve read in so long!! I absolutely loved it and it’s somehow a new to me author even though this book is from 2015, so I’ve downloaded her other books! Yay! ️️️ I love this blog and group of women!

bev: The Anatomical Shape of a Heart… This book though is present day San Francisco. What I’m really liking about her writing is how descriptive she is and good at it. Yet, not overly detailed. The MCs were just in a book store talking and I could totally imagine it and them. I love visual books, if that makes sense. But again its not pages of description.

  • The Way the Story Goes (Magnolia Sound Book 7) by Samantha Chase <— HER NOISY NEIGHBOR!! “...Thriller writer Mia Kingsley has been hit with a serious case of writer’s block and she needs a little peace and quiet.   • The Push: A Novel by Ashley Audrain <— PSYCH-THRILLER RECENT RELEASE & it’s back on the list ’cause Tasha J is hearing awesome things about it. YAY ME!!

Tasha J: The Push, which was on your list last week, people are going nuts over. It apparently sold out at BOTM and they have to restock. Some said it reminds them of Verity or Baby Teeth, which I haven’t read, but have heard many good things. I couldn’t resist even though I didn’t have it in my box and got it from Amazon. It will arrive today.

Maryse: And I LOVE creepy kid psych-thrillers so much. OH MY!! I NEED IT!!!

  • The Wife Upstairs: A Novel by Rachel Hawkins <— RECENT PSYCH-THRILLER RELEASE and back on the list ’cause Tasha J is also hearing awesomeness about it, too!!

Kathy: I read High Risk Rookie by Odette Stone (4th book in the Vancouver Wolves Series). It is a hockey series but one of the best!!

5 stars for me. I wanted to give Levi a hug the whole way through the book!!

Jan: Thanks K. I didn’t know High Risk Rookie was out. I have enjoyed some books in the series and will try that one.

Melinda: I don’t know if anyone else has read this but I stumbled upon a fantastic book. 5 big big stars for me and I couldn’t put it down. It’s called “ the light we lost” by Jill santoppolo ive never read anything by this author but it was amazing. I highly recommend it! Has anyone else read it?

Best book I’ve read in ages. I think I read it in less than 12 hours it’s amazing how fast you can read when it’s good.

Lisa: I can attest that The Light We Lost was a great book. It had one of those endings that had me glaring at my Kindle and yelling “nope, you’re not gonna do that to me”. So yeah, a little bit o’ angst…but a beautiful story!!

  • Rock Point series by Freya Barker <— THE ENTIRE SERIES IS SUPER-BARGAIN PRICED!!!!

Megan: I am a huge Freya Barker fan

P. Walker: Freya Barker is also a good author to read. Most of her books have older characters and extremely sexy.

Julie H: Freya Barker is amazing!!! Smoking hot and full of suspense! Her heroes are hot as hell and her heroines are strong and sassy.

*eeep* You just made my day!! I didn’t know it was a 3 day weekend. It’s on my calendar, but I hadn’t made the connection/looked ahead yet. Oo, I’m so happy. I have much to catch up on on the sewing and relaxation front. Today and tomorrow till the afternoon are busy so I was thinking poo, short time for me again bc half Sunday is always basketball, but now there is hope. 😁
I’m 70% into The Survivors and hope to finish today, then onto The Push.

I can’t remember the name of a book and might be a small series from a few years ago, and it’s so frustrating! It was an erotic romance mc biker theme type. The heroine is a women who has one or maybe two children (she might get pregnant with him and have the second later on after reconnecting) with a man who she doesn’t know is planted in her life by her father who I think faked his death. The hero, her love interest, is one of his club members and she ofcourse has no idea who he really is, only for him to disappear one day. The heroines father who faked his death is now I believe the president or a high ranking member of this MC and is in a gay relationship with another member in the mc. The heroine finds things out… tracks him down…he is later unhappily remarried to someone he doesn’t love and the heroine is furious and I think pregnant with his baby. She also has a close and sweet friendship with the hero’s brother. Also there’s an element of danger as to why all the lies and secrecy (disappearing and faked deaths) etc but I can’t remember what, I’m guessing a rival club though predictably? Can anybody please help?! I can’t get it out of my head.

From blood and ash by Jennifer armentrout is on sale today only. The series is my top books of 2020. Both 5+++++ for me!

With the holidays behind us and quarantine still a reality I’ve read a few awesome books I must recommend. All 3 very different but all unable to put down!! Not What I Expected by Jewel E Ann (automatic author click every single time) Unfaithful by Natalie Barelli and Our Darkest Night by Jennifer Robson.
