Reader Question – The book about the two adults and two children that survived a plane crash…
Jennifer was looking for this one, and I was able to answer it ’cause I read it!!!
I’m a sucker for shipwrecks or plane crashes that end up on a deserted island themes!!!! And in case you are too, and haven’t read this one yet, I thought I’d post it even though I’ve answered it. 😉

Book Review – Unseen Messages by Pepper Winters
Unseen Messages: a survival romance novel
Having never read, yet but heard so much about this author’s trademark “dark romance reads” I was very excited when I found our she wrote THIS one. ‘Cause it’s about a plane crash on a deserted island, and if there’s anything I love more than a dark read, it’s one about survival, and all of the precarious and scary stuff that goes with it.
And even more so when it involves a real companionship between people that may never have given each other the time of day before such an event. But it’s that bond, the care and eventually love of each other that provides them equal (if not more) sustenance than the sparse food and water does. Because it feeds their lonely souls. Imagine being completely alone on a deserted island with no help, nobody to talk to and no way of knowing if you’ll ever be rescued? For days… months, or even years on end? Gah… that thought alone makes me feel like I’m suffocating!
What to Read After On the Island – “Stranded on a deserted island” romance books…
When it comes to love stories, there is nothing more fun than two people (strangers, or enemies, or maybe one of ’em being an unrequited love-secret admirer) to be thrown together and… stuck together for whatever reason.
This is a “genre” that I am SO drawn to and the ones I read, I simply can’t forget. ‘Cause while it “sounds” romantic (escaping the stresses of our fast-paced lives and living in seclusion and “peace” in a tropical paradise), truth be told, in reality? It’s a total nightmare! Especially those where “they” are stuck in some sort of a “deserted” area. Whether it be on a deserted island (plane crash or sinking boat), completely snowed in, in a bare-minimum cabin, or even stuck in an elevator, there has been some exciting, scary and especially STEAMY intensity going on.
Book Review – Surviving Raine by Shay Savage
Surviving Raine
<— One of my new “best book ever” books. OMG I am OBSESSED with this story, and those who recommended it to me were SO right. Absolutely engrossing. I LOVED IT!
Hannah: You must read Surviving Raine by Shay Savage. Period. Seriously, it is that good. I was having major issues with finding a book (I have become super picky) and the fifty-shades wannabes books and predictable romantic dramas simply weren’t doing it for me. I think I have read to many of these books, because I see, to be able to predict the events coming on, thus the read feels pointless and I cannot become engaged in it. Surviving Raine is dark and twisted and everything I secretly craved.
