Yep… cheating/infidelity/affair books. Heroes & Heroines alike… Whatever you call this genre, it’s time to list ’em. I haven’t made a “What to Read After… ” list in awhile ’cause I reserve those for books that drove us crazy, and that we can’t stop talking about, months and maybe even years after we first read ’em. Since Arsen is still affecting readers, and books “like it” are always being compared to it (and everyone is on a quest for more like it)… well. It’s time. Even… ever since Thoughtless. Kellan wasn’t the only awesome part of that book. It was the indecision, the gaul, the hurt, and the angst that also had us hooked.

Book Review – Rush by Emma Scott
RUSH (City Lights: New York City Book 3)
This one was just what the reader ordered!!! The pacing and the detail was such, that I felt as if I was living through her eyes (yet not bogged down with it). And OMG!!! I think this is the first book that has ever had me sobbing for joy… wonderful, relieving, exquisite, pure and unadulterated joy! I thank you Jillian for adamantly recommending it!
Jillian: Rush by Emma Scott is a must read!! Perfectly written and paced. Angry, bitter blind man and his personal assistant, a violinist who has been through heartache herself, struggle to accept their fates and ultimately their love for one another. I know it sounds depressing. But it’s real and beautiful and unique. Five plus stars!

*oomph*!!!! YES!!! THIS ONE!!!! Rock star love-triangle angsty romance at it’s finest, and I was so into it! Now you know I’ve read my fair share of rock star books, and some rocked my world (and started me on my bad-boy contemporary romance binge), and some… well… one of us was a little out of tune with the other. Tee hee!
But this one? OH THIS ONE had the right beat, and I sure found the rhythm. *snort* GAH! I’m so corny. And I wasn’t even that clever, either. Ah well… it stays. 😉 And I’m not the only one that was loving the “beat”:

Okay this series is calling me BIG time! I keep hearing about this author’s bad-ass alpha males, and I love that they’re all “heroes” even if they have that bad-boy thing going on. So I’m starting it!
