Following my heart, one book at a time...
BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!! Penelope Ward’s “My Skylar” (book #3) is now live on Amazon!! I really enjoyed book #1 (quite the twist!) and now there are two more. I hear book #2 is SOOOOO good (even better than number 1, some say?) so I have to read it. Here is the series reading order. 😀
Happy new release day! Good stuff to choose from (including that HUGELY anticipated release over there to the left) :D!!! ♥♥♥ JAMIE!!!♥♥♥ Plus a bunch below, that I’m about to highlight.
Addicted to You (Addicted Series)
Yep, I’m late to the game, with this one. Released last year, (with an intriguing premise to boot!) this series has since had quite a few follow-up releases, and many of my fellow readers are loving it. In fact, it would appear the further into the series this one goes, the better the books get! The last two books really wow’d ’em! So after so many awesome and adamant recommendations, you know I just had to jump in and taste-test!
Justine: you guys need to know about it! Talk about flawed romance! I am 80% through the book so far, and I only stopped because I had to get some sleep. Am LOVING it so far – highly recommend!
BIKER SERIES ALERT! PLUS! Book #6 was just released. I’m hearing really good things about this series (good writing, intense bikers, drama and lots of 5 star reviews). Some of the lower-star reviews indicate a level of violence that makes some quite uncomfortable, but these fellow readers below are loving it!
Jeanie: Omg, huge HUGE fan of Susan Fanetti & the Signal Bend Series (especially book 2)!!! Love, love Isaac!!! He reminds me of Tack (and I love Tack) BUT…. dare I say, he is the most LOVEABLE biker you will ever read about!!! Love – just love him & I love a lot of biker characters but right now he is just my very favorite & I think you’ll love him too! He is just the right amount of alpha badness but sweetness too! Sigh! The books have a Marked:The Missing Link feel to it too fyi! :). Sooo good!!!
Tomorrow is my “release day” post, but sometimes… some come out early, and sound TOO darn good to wait. So I made us a mini-list to delve in, before the big one. Yep… I’m already *squirreling*. 😉
Riiiiighttttt??!!! Holy MOLY what is this going to be?! I’m ON IT!Seventeen years old when he broke my heart.
Seventeen days later when another picked up the pieces.
Seventeen years together.
Seventeen thousand problems.
Seventeen days of reliving my past and finding a new future.
Seventeen minutes until it all went up in flames.
Seventeen breaths until I took my last.
This is my story…and it’s going to burn.
Reciprocity (Breach Book 3) by K.I. Lynn <—- popular series just released book #3!!!! Now… I can’t read the synopsis ’cause I still need to read the first books and I don’t wanna ruin it for myself, but I’m already seeing some intense enthusiasm over this one from our fellow readers. 😀 Here’s the Breach Series Reading Order.
Baiting the Maid of Honor (a Wedding Dare Novel) (Entangled Brazen) by Tessa Bailey <— I LOVED this author’s other book BIG TIME, and now she has this one that sounds so good! “Julie Piper and Reed Lawson have nothing in common. She’s a people-pleasing sorority girl hiding behind her perfect mask. He’s a take-no-prisoners SWAT commander who isolates himself from the world. But when they’re forced together at their friends’ posh destination wedding, one thing is clear—Reed wants Julie more than he wants his next breath. Which is why he’s not about to stand by when she’s dared to seduce another man.” <— sounds like it could be an epic “MINE” moment!!
Seduce Me (Ravage MC Book 2) by Ryan Michele <— BIKER BOOK! Friends since they were kids, raised in a biker club together and maybe even a little bit in love. But then he pushed her away…
Infinity + One by Amy Harmon <— I LOVE this author (sooooo many of us do) ’cause she writes such deep, moving stories. And the synopsis is another that made me wonder where it’s gonna go (but I’m pretty sure tears’ll be involved). “Bonnie Rae Shelby is a superstar. She’s rich. She’s beautiful. She’s impossibly famous. And Bonnie Rae Shelby wants to die. Finn Clyde is a nobody. He’s broken. He’s brilliant. He’s impossibly cynical. And all he wants is a chance at life. One girl. One boy. An act of compassion. A bizarre set of circumstances. And a choice – turn your head and walk away, or reach out your hand and risk it all?“
Breaking Away (Assassins Series Book 5)
Hate to Love You
Here’s another book that gave me a recent blurb-jolt, and of course, a boat load of guilt for being excited at that turmoil it promised.
The truth?
I slept with my sister’s fiancé. Hot and sweaty, all night long in a room so dark he couldn’t tell I wasn’t her.
The lie?
Said fiancé is the father of my child.
GAH!!! WHAT!????
And then I received some awesome recommendations that just cinched it for me!
Jody: I just finished ‘Hate to Love You.’ Loved it! It was a first time I have stayed up until 3am reading in a long time. Didn’t want to put it down.”
