KRISTIN HANNAH LOVERS, REJOICE!!! I’m a huge addict of her amazing, deeply emotional and highly addictive novels, so I KNEW I had to dedicate an entire list just to this author.

I FELL HARD for this author’s latest release “The Nightingale” (<— my review). I’ve always known that she’s HUGE in our reading world, but I had never experienced her awesomeness for myself. Until a few weeks ago. I am HOOKED on her writing. So I searched my recommendations and OMG this author comes up a TON. Book Review – Interim by S. Walden

This is the one with that blurb that made my eyes bug out, prompting me to do crazy flips of excitement. I knew I was about to embark on something very scary… very risqué. A unique and often dark introspective look into a specific and detrimental social issue that is the cause of so much childhood and teen turmoil following so many, too many, right into adulthood. The trauma of childhood bullies and the scars they cause from their incessant abuse.

That’s right. Me. Up there. That was how I felt upon finishing this mind f… redface er…. delightfully convoluted story.  HOLY MOLY… I got it. No I didn’t. But I GET it… now. And yet I totally didn’t. But I did. But I wasn’t sure if it was me? Or her? Or had my mind just… cracked after all of that? rolleyes I don’t even care, ’cause IT. WAS. AWESOME!!

Book Review – The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

The Nightingale
This was one of the most incredibly devastating, beautiful, tragic and eye opening stories that I have ever read. Absolutely unforgettable, utterly distressing yet uplifting in the hope that human compassion and fighting back in the face of adversity (any way you can… it all counts) will always prevail.

And this isn’t just a “tale”. This heinous period, this hate, this insanity… this evil… existed. Exists. And today is Holocaust Remembrance Day so I think I read this wonderful book just in time! read more

There’s been an influx of fantastic “circus” book bad boys in our midst. Fire breathers, dare devils, magicians… performers that steal our breath (and hearts) away! For those looking for more like “The Traveling Man” and “Hearts of Fire” this list is for you! And for those looking to fall in love with a new kind of “hero”, I bet you’ll find him in one of these!
