Book Review – The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah

The Nightingale
This was one of the most incredibly devastating, beautiful, tragic and eye opening stories that I have ever read. Absolutely unforgettable, utterly distressing yet uplifting in the hope that human compassion and fighting back in the face of adversity (any way you can… it all counts) will always prevail.

And this isn’t just a “tale”. This heinous period, this hate, this insanity… this evil… existed. Exists. And today is Holocaust Remembrance Day so I think I read this wonderful book just in time! read more

There’s been an influx of fantastic “circus” book bad boys in our midst. Fire breathers, dare devils, magicians… performers that steal our breath (and hearts) away! For those looking for more like “The Traveling Man” and “Hearts of Fire” this list is for you! And for those looking to fall in love with a new kind of “hero”, I bet you’ll find him in one of these!

Book Review – Kulti by Mariana Zapata

I LOVED IT. L-O-V-E-D IT!!!!!!! Swooned, I did. Chuckled like crazy, I did. Grinned and beamed and butterflied like a crushing teen… I did. That could be my entire review… just… that I LOVED it.

Recommended HIGHLY by a ton in my reading crew (some of my most trusted and picky readers) …and I agree.

Tracie: I think I just read my favorite book of 2015…Yes I know it’s only April. But I’m confident. Kulti by Mariana Zapata is the definition of a slow burn by not moving slow at all. Kick ass heroine, broody, world class athlete equals perfection. You will laugh your butt off and you will swoon!! I beg everyone to read this fantastic book!! read more

Whoa. THAT BLURB GOT ME!!!!! Tore my heart out right from that heartbreaking letter, and I couldn’t get it out of my mind.

 “I was still here, holding my breath, waiting for you to come back even though you told me you never would. You always said you’d find your way back to me. Out of all the lies you’ve told me, this one hurts the most…”

I knew it had to be next.
