M. Leighton – Bad Boys Series Reading Order

I read book #1 in this sexy series and loved it (and now that #2 is out, I need to get on it). It’s about two gorgeous guys (actually, identical twins!!). A bad boy, a good boy and a girl caught in the middle. Well, you know… 😉 Not like that. But they’re both perfect in their own way, and not-so-perfect in their own way, too. One’s a total player, and one is “taken”… by her cousin! Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

Sarah: OMG OMG I just finished Down To You and Up TO Me by M. Leighton and I have a serious new book boyfriend I’m in love with Cash!!!! I can’t believe I waited so long to read these I mean DOWN TO YOU was on your top reads for 2012 what the heck was I thinking those books should be my priority 😉 again you never fail me with your recommendations this is why I follow your blog! Book Review – Documentary by A.J. Sand

Documentary
I liked it. This one had a consistent flow of realistic “romance with a rock star” drama. Er… wait. What do I know about realistic and rock stars? Ok, you got me. Lemme re-word. It felt realistic. Sure there were a few moments that had me thinking hrmmm… I dunno if that would have happened in real life, but overall, this one never reached that over-the-top too much angst level.

But! There were plenty of angsty moments interspersed nicely throughout. Romance, and then… not-so-romance. Rock stars, and their beautiful fans. Jealousy and game playing. And a famous gorgeous rock star that was keeping a big secret and had a slightly volatile reputation (with tons of speculation). read more

Cover Reveal – J.A. Redmerski’s “The Edge of Always” (*squeeeeee!!!*)

Woooooohoooo!!! THIS cover reveal blew me away! I woke up to this news and excitement (*hug to everyone*) yesterday morning, having no idea about the cover reveal (which was exclusive to USA Today) OR the awesome news that my quote is featured on the front.

It is no secret that The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski is one of my all-time favorite books in the whole wide world (it ranks up there with a few others that I can’t stop raving about – you know the ones 😉 ) and these favorites are “forever-classics” to me. I’m always searching for books that give me that “out of body” experience. The full, emotional charge that connects me 100% to a book (mind, body and heart), and this is one of those (check out my review although by now I’m sure most of you, this is old news). Cover Reveal! New covers for Angie Stanton’s “Rock and a Hard Place” & “Snapshot”

This YA series (The Jamieson Collection) was suggested for my “ultimate list of rock star reads” by Charity, and Karen listed book #1 (Rock and a Hard Place) in her 2011 top twenty list! They sound like great reads and are officially on my TBR list!

Book Review – On Every Street by Karina Halle

On Every Street (The Artists Trilogy)
(book # 0.5 in The Artists Trilogy – this “prequel novella” (lengthy novella at over 100 pages!!) can be read before Sins & Needles but was written after Sins).

Here’s a mini-review before the MAIN review for those wanting to go into this one blindly –> Nothing is really spoiled in the review below, but I do let on to something I had no idea would happen to me when I first read book #1. And I really enjoyed the surprise. So you can probably read this review below spoiler free (other than realizing lots of “crazy” has already happened in this series so far) that makes us flip-flop in our loyalties. But if you want to go into this not knowing a thing, I’d say just know that we’re loving this series. It’s an absolute thrill-ride and there are wonderful bouts of adrenaline and emotional surges. Sexy, steamy with moments of romantic intensity. Plus that initial deep-seated need for revenge that is making a mess of these characters. read more
