Christine Feehan – Ghostwalker Series Reading Order

HUGE LOVE for this steamy-sexy paranormal series!

Rebecca: This is one of my favourite series of all time! I’ve reread all of these multiple times over the years. Imagine KA’s alpha men, genetically modified to create super human weapons (some of the women too), and working for a secret Govt agency that now want to eliminate their experiments. Written very contemporary/romantic suspense, I connected to these far more than her Dark Series.

Kalua: I LOVE this series!! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series. As soon as I finish one book, I am ready to read another. I’ve read Viper and can’t wait for the next book. read more

Book Review – Blindsided by Sayer Adams

Blindsided (With the Band)
Here’s another little treasure I found in my mad-search for rock star books, that kept me reading non-stop. No book reviews out there for it as of yet, but it deserves one, and bargain-priced for a good length e-read, it was well worth it. I loved it. Okay, maybe not “Rock Me” loved it, or even “Falling Star” loved it, but I was not disappointed. Oh and… is that a dimple I see in her cover rocker? *sigh*

Chelsea (a worldly, but young) travel writer is back in the United States (Seattle, to be exact) for two weeks to visit with her brother, before heading off to another far away land again. Living with the bare minimum (and loving it that way), her poor excuse of a car (a badly neglected ancient VW Bug) leaves her stranded on the side of a road on the outskirts of the city. To top it off, her cell phone has no signal. She grudgingly leaves her vehicle to look for the nearest house (in the rain), so she can call her brother to pick her up. read more

Samson’s Lovely Mortal (Scanguards Vampires Book 1)
This was an enjoyable, easy read.  I read it in one night, and didn’t get bored once. It may not have driven me to my blog in a frenzy to tout it’s amazingness but it held my attention and I will definitely be continuing the series. And better yet, it’s one of the free Kindle e-books I downloaded (and it looks like it’s still free!!)

It had all the “old-school” stuff that I love in a vampire romance novel. read more

Book Review – The Darkest Pleasure by Gena Showalter

The Darkest Pleasure (Hqn)
Reyes… Reyes, Reyes, Reyes. Reminded me somewhat of “Z” (from BDB series) so I ummm… kinda, put my brain picture of “Zsadist” and superimposed it onto Reyes. Not bad, if I do say so myself. Made for a mighty enjoyable read, and kinda like re-reading Z’s story (okay, maybe Z’s cousin or something). Oh, did I ever tell you I did that with “Tegan” from the Midnight Breed series? Yeah… if the hero has “Z-like” qualities, my “Z” image becomes the default in my head 😉 read more

A couple of weekends ago, I went on another “rock star book” hunt, and I found a bunch (all nicely loaded into my iPad). None of them are “main stream” or very popular (some didn’t even have reviews yet), but that’s okay. There’s a “first time” for everything (and some of my favorite books recently, have been relatively unknown).  Each of my “finds” had a synopsis that tickled my fancy, (you know… the whole, normal girl accidentally runs into her favorite star or, maybe even someone she doesn’t personally recognize) but quickly gets caught up in the whirlwind of insecurities and fangirl crushes that go along with dating a rock star.
