<— Fan-freakin-tastic!! It was almost everything I was in the mood for, especially that “hard-to-get” guy that was finally NOT doing the chasing.

Ahhhhh how I love a book where the girl has been pining for awhile (in this case, almost a year) and where the guy shows absolutely no interest. Truly. No interest. And I mean none.

Transcendence
A love story involving a caveman? Definitely not my usual. I mean, sure… I do prefer my book-heroes to be alphas,  so in essence, you might think that the whole “caveman” thing would be right up my alley. *shrug* Not really. neutral

Or so I thought.

Oh… I was curious, for sure. Considering that fact that I’ve loved this author’s writing in the past (her other books, one of ’em – Surviving Raine – being one of my all-time favorites). I was enticed by the idea of reading something so unique, despite the “weird-factor”. <— Actually. Scratch that. I kinda love that “weird” factor. Hermits, escorts (<—how does that even work out?), kidnappers, forbidden love “couples” and now… cavemen. 😉 As long as the main focus is on love (or some weird rendition of “love”), I’m in! read more

Come to Me Quietly: The Closer to You Series
I decided to dig back into my “Seventeen books on TBR List” and read this recent release, since this one comes highly recommended. Actually, anything from this author does, and going by this book, I can see why!

Deanna: Come To Me Quietly. When u ask what books puts u in a fog and u dream of for days later. That is this book for me. I downloaded “stay” by Rhianna because that song works so well for this book. You’ll see. 5++++++ stars. Obsessed. Cant wait until July. So good. read more

Remembering Us
<— This blurb tricked me (but in such a goooooooood way)!!! It’s about exactly what it says it’s about… and yet totally different than what I was expecting. I now realize my mind came up with it’s own story before going in, and while I was anticipating that one, I was pleasantly surprised when I realized the direction it was taking. TOTALLY different. Yep. And much better than my “imagined” version.
