Ohhh this one sounds like something I would definitely want on my TBR list, and yet I’m not sure what it is. Grace saw mention of it and wants to read it but forgot to add it, too.

Was it a new release that I highlighted, or a bargain find or a recommendation? Gah! I’ll do a search to see if I can find it, but maybe somebody here already knows?

Reader question day, and I’ve got a few for us that we can play with!! Regina just sent this one over. Since she’s actually read it, and wants to RE-READ it (but ca’t remember the title or author) she provides a lot of detail, so beware… I tried to spread it out with spoiler alerts between. Maybe the first paragraph will spark your memory from the start! 😀

I’m hoping you might have read this book and remember the title better than me (my Nook had a tragic accident involving 2 bengals, a dog and a catwheel, nook’s under warranty, but it didn’t back up my lists.)  I think I read it between 2012-2014, could go either way by a year, and I’ve wanted to reread it.  It was a New adult, college, romance…Very obviously there will be spoilers below, in hopes that you recognize the book.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!! read more

Ker Dukey & D.H Sidebottom – Deception Series Reading Order

Scary dark series alert!!!

Kimmie: Maryse have you read the Deception Series by D.H. Sidebottom & Ker Dukey. Finished Facade at 3 in the morning and OMG. Dark Total WTH headtrip. So good. Reading Cadence.

Tessa: Ker Dukey is a twisted author.

MichelleS: …finished FaCade. So here’s the deal: it ends with a cliffhanger… dang it… and I did NOT see that coming at all. so that’s good – it surprised me. It was dark, though… and there’s one scene that is just… well… disturbing… but we’ve all read Captive in the Dark and Mud Vein and Tied Man and Bad Things… so we can handle it. I am giving book one 4.5 stars because it was riveting, but I didn’t get attached to anyone, you know? I’m waffling on the 4.5 stars….. but will read book two because now that I know, I’ve got to see how it plays out. read more

Kara: The Flawlessly Broken Series by Barbara Speak! AAAAhhhmazing! Biggest book hangovers I have ever had! This woman writes the best curve balls into her stories!

Blythe: Finding Solace and Fearing Regret both by Barbara Speak! They are like no other book I read and I LOVE them. I think you would really enjoy them!
