It’s been a while since I’ve caught up on all the author action (these last few weeks I’ve been entrenched in my books), but now I’m curious… What’s next? Well… LOTS!!

First –> A few quick updates on my website:

  • J.R. Ward announced that “Tohrment’s” book will be the next one in her Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Wooohooo!! More BDB!
  • Alexandra Ivy shows us the new “Supernatural” anthology cover (her story for Uriel and Kata will be in there!) and here’s a sneak peak to Uriel’s story!!
  • Jacquelyn Frank confirms that book# 6 is done and expected to be released November 2011 (name of book and Jasmine’s hero is going to be a surprise that will be released at the upcoming Romantic Times Convention)
  • Alyson Noel announces exciting news!!

Summit Entertainment has optioned the dramatic rights for all 10 books in both The Immortals & The Riley Bloom series!!

  • Larissa Ione blogs about her latest cover shoot! Hot stuff (actual models!)
  • Richelle Mead announces the title of the 4th book in her Dark Swan series:

I’m very pleased to announce that Eugenie’s fourth novel has a title: Shadow Heir. It’ll be released in January 2012. read more

Book Review – My Fair Succubi by Jill Myles

My Fair Succubi (The Succubus Diaries Book 3)
Zaaaaaaanne!! *phew* Ok now that I got that out of the way…let’s review 😉

I was highly anticipating this book, and it did deliver! However, I won’t tell you if it gave me exactly what I wanted, cause well, that’ll just give the whole thing away, now won’t it? It did have plenty of risky situations with enemies from the good and the evil side (enemies from good? yup! Angels aren’t always very nice).

Lust and love flourish in this installment, and true to the series signature style, it was all wrapped up in Jackie’s snarky, almost naive hilarity. read more

I’m Blog Stalking – Author News – 12-15-10

Lots of awesome author news and goodies to come! Oh and guess who I saw today!? Well not really “saw” in person, but on a movie. Leanna Renee Hieber as a “Bed Bath and Beyond” employee in the movie “The Other Guys” with Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg! Too cool 🙂

  • Allyson James working on (and awaiting approval for): Tales of the Shareem: Braden (and if that goes well, next book will be Justin’s). She let’s us know that her upcoming book (in June 2011) “Shadowalker” will bring back Janet and Mick (“Janet and Mick are back and badder than ever”). She also informs us that Stormwalker (Stormwalker Series, Book 1) has been nominated for a Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice Award in Urban Fantasy. Woo hoo!”. Congratulations Allyson!!
  • Stacia Kane’s “City of Ghosts (Downside Ghosts, Book 3)” has been nominated for an award at Goodreads (or maybe it’s two awards)!! Also regarding the next in the Downside series:

I am also re-reading the enormous doorstop I just wrote and am actually kind of enjoying it; I think I have some ideas where to tighten it up and yeah, there will be a nice selection of deleted scenes for the website after this book comes out. (Which no, I do not have a date yet, sorry, I’ll tell you as soon as I do.) (Same with the title.) read more

Foreplay: A Succubus Diaries Prequel (The Succubus Diaries)
A fun short story (and again, I do mean short). We get the play by play of Jackie’s day, that leads up to her defining moment.

She starts her morning as a frumpy, insecure woman who gets bypassed for a promotion, then moves on to drowning her sorrows at a local bar, and being bypassed by the “meh” guys in said bar. It progresses to Jackie’s life changing moment when she stumbles in a dark alley, and her life as she knows it, ends. read more
