An “add-on” to the Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – October 16th 2013

October 16, 2013 By Maryse 9 Comments

Looks like a few more new releases came out yesterday, and some of our favorites went into bargain mode! So consider this an add-on to yesterday’s “new releases” post. 😉

P.S. I’m on a “fighter-fest” these days and loving it. And there are so many new fighters to choose from, and a few of ’em are in the bargains, below!

MORE BARGAINS!

Consumed by Skyla Madi <— MMA fighter book and I really liked this one! Here’s my review (and take a look at the author’s muse – I added the link to it in my review).

Latest Paranormal & Contemporary Romance Book Releases – October 15th 2013

October 15, 2013 By Maryse 20 Comments

<— Today’s releases look fantastic! Rock stars, love triangles, college romance gone wrong… ooooh the angst!! And some super-sweet looking ones and a creepy-ish mystery-romance looking one, too (Broken Silence), two sisters fighting over one guy and… oh!! And a BDSM club one, where the heroine is new to the scene and discovering her sub nature. Love those! 😉

Of course, there are a few super-stand-outs for me (and a few I need to series-backtrack so I can get to a few of these new releases). But, I’m giving these a go ASAP: Bold Tricks OF COURSE I gotta know where the “Artist’s Trilogy” ends up with the latest and series finale, Madeleine Abducted a great looking “abduction” romance read that my fellow readers are loving!! Maybe This Time (an MMA book and I hear there are TWINS!!!) and (Never) Again (there’s something about the synopsis of this one that speaks to me… I mean it “sounds” like our usual college-new-adult read but I can just imagine her agony as she sees her ex become a part of her group again…). read more

Book Review – Held by Edeet Ravel

October 14, 2013 By Maryse 30 Comments

Held
So I read this REALLY AWESOME book last night (from start to finish in one sitting)… and crazy enough, it’s from 2011! Even though I had searched for books like this in the past, somehow… this one never came up. Until last night. I saw it. I saw it’s crazy-ish price. And yet I couldn’t help but sample it. And then once the sample was done, I needed more (price be damned), and I bought it.

Was the ride worth the price? HECK YAH (to me, anyway). Where was it going? WHAT was gonna happen??? What would be the outcome?! HOW?? WHY?? read more

Today’s Latest Author & Book News – October 13th 2013

October 13, 2013 By Maryse 12 Comments

<— Okay after reading this synopsis, I wanted to make a post to let y’all know it has just been released. I haven’t read it yet, but you know that title totally had my attention, and the synopsis seems promising. 😉

So while I’m at it, here are some more author tidbits and book stuff (including a super-bargain for a book that is HIGH on my TBR list – another synopsis that has me excited). It’s a slow author-news weekend (I think the authors are either writing ferociously or out having fun right now ;)) so as I find more, I’ll keep adding it to this list. read more

Book Review – Tempt by Cambria Hebert

Tempt (Take It Off)
Well… I read it. I found out about it last night, the synopsis had me leaping with joy and I immediately moved into my #1 spot ’cause I was so in the mood for what this looked like it could be.

My mind was already enthusiastically imagining all sorts of scenarios. I had a feeling this would either tear my heart out (two men, one woman, stranded on a deserted island). Would there be intense love via a bonding trio? Care and devotion and social “norms” thrown out the window? And what would happen if they were rescued? Or never rescued? Or could there be intense jealousy and hurt turning it into a dangerous trio due to feelings of betrayal? I was anxious to play it out, with them. read more
