<— This is what I just finished and will be reviewing next. 😉 I really enjoying it, so this is my personal recommendation for today’s bargain and reader recommendation list! PLUS, it would appear I’m a HUGE fan of this author, as I’ve just noticed that I’ve read a few of her other books and loved ’em, too! Her books always feature adults, have a very private, very intimate feel (sometimes eye-popping and sometimes gentle) but they always pack a punch! Whether it be because of a crazy twist, or the direction the story takes, or a character *issue*, I can’t help but become addicted each time! Original, interesting (exciting!) and unique story lines, with characters that feel SO real, and twists that make it, so you never forget ANY of her books!

J.C. Mells – Pierced Series Reading Order
Paranormal series that seems to have a bit of everything. And while the synopsis leaves me a bit… befuddled (I haven’t read ’em yet), these recommendations make these seem like my kinda read! And this part is what “sold” it for me:
“Pierce has been on the run for two years from the man who held her captive in a vampire compound for almost a decade.”
Shannon: I needed a “palate cleanser” this weekend so I decided to dive into the Pierced Series by J.C. Mells and LOVED IT!!! Wow, the characters are so wonderfully written and I just cannot wait to see where in the heck this all goes. Vampires, Sorcerers, Werewolves…Oh My! Book 1 is Pierced and Book 2 is Pinked and then there is Book 1.5 Escaped. Book 2 does not end on a cliffhanger, you just know that more is coming. I gave both books 5 stars and I cannot wait to read more of this series. … The second book is more expensive, but once you reach the end of the first book you just HAVE to read it!!

Apparently I’m on an MMA cage-fighting kick right now and I can’t help myself but jump on every single one that I find out about. I’ve already read two this week, with another one lined up… let alone the others that I’ve read over the last month. Oh and, let’s not even mention the ones I’ve been stockpiling in my iPad. No worries. I’m sure you’ll be hearing about them, soon. 😉
So this is a brand new release (in that genre), and in theory, has everything I look for in my guilty pleasures. Mega alpha-male that has a bad attitude, even to the girl (not so much cocky, just broody, angry and no-nonsense). The one that everyone says “don’t even bother with him. He hates everyone”. And then, out of the blue, he does (or says) something soooooo sweet and swoon-worthy. Ahhhh yes. That’s a quick way to my heart right there. 😉 Trick it and make it think it hates you (or that you hate it) and then surprise it with sweetness. Er, wait. That’s not cool at all. LOL! Recipe for disaster, actually.
Steph Campbell & Liz Reinhardt – Lengths Series Reading Order
Great looking “new adult” series (with already 5 installments!) that I’ve been told by the authors can be read in any order (all standalones)!
