<— LOVED!!! This one put so many of us in a somewhat crazy, frenzied state. And many of us (me included) couldn’t figure out what team we were on! (see my review). The romantic angst was delicious and the slightly taboo subject matter, exciting! If you haven’t read this book yet, DO NOT check out the synopsis for book #2. Too much info there, and part of the fun in book #1 is not knowing… who. 😉
And YAY!!! Book #2 will be out in just a few weeks!

I saw this one when I was searching for some “new-to-me” e-books for my bargain list, but the synopsis left me so baffled that I… couldn’t get a handle on what I was in for, let alone… get that *jolt* I look for when reading a book’s “blurb”.
The very emotional and vulnerable looking cover was certainly calling to me. But in this instance, the blurb wasn’t helping me and I wasn’t sure (even at this awesome price) if I was willing to… “judge a book by it’s cover” and just jump in. Intriguing mysterious blurbs often get me good, but this one made me go, “whaaaaaa?“. But then, one fellow reader happened upon it, and recommended it in a recent comment, and another fellow reader jumped in. And THEIR reactions are what had me scrambling back to it. I’m good with going “into a book blind” (especially when a reader’s innately honest reaction has me already feeling it, through them), so I read it!
Unbound: (InterMix)
This author is apparently one of my favorites, ’cause it seems every one of her books I’ve read, I’ve loved. Each one of her stories is unique and unforgettable, often exploring a more taboo look into “adult-life”. Having personal (and very private) desires, her relatable characters might just complete each other. But not without a bit of personal turmoil and angst in the mix.
But what I especially love about her characters is that we can see ourselves in them. Them…in us. We can recognize (and relate) to their adult lives through their worries, their habits. Their boredoms. Their hopes and their dreams. Their disappointments and their achievements. And even in their need for more. Because, you see… each one of her characters (at least the ones I’ve come to know) has his/her own very particular “twist”. But… we can often relate to that, even. Whether their *quirk* is ours or not ours, by the time we reach it, we take it in and experience it like out own.
Book #1 had me laughing and swooning and I LOVED it! So I’m thrilled to know that there are already two more in the mix! (here’s my review)
