Killing Sarai
Gorgeous cover, intriguing title, but it’s the “bad guy” premise of this book that got my attention. Well, that… and the fact that this was J.A. Redmerski’s newest release and we all know how crazy I went over another one of her books. And although this one’s premise was quite different, it looked like it might have that “taboo” quality to it. Going from the clutches of one bad guy (a Mexican druglord) to another bad guy that was there to deal a “hit”.
My Book Reviews
J.A. Redmerski’s “Killing Sarai” is LIVE now + I have an excerpt + a giveaway!
Killing Sarai
<—- JUST RELEASED TODAY (a couple of days early!!), so I just bought it. I LOVE this author and while we are anxiously awaiting the sequel (The Edge of Never) to her HUGE hit The Edge of Never, she has JUST released this one! No need to wait for more of her fabulousness!
Wanna know more? Look below. Oooooh you guys. This is BAD GUY territory!!! No… not “bad boy”. BAD GUY!
“Sarai was only fourteen when her mother uprooted her to live in Mexico with a notorious drug lord…”
The King by J.R. Ward is up for pre-order on Amazon and has a gorgeous cover!
Guess what guys? Have you seen the new cover for J.R. Ward’s next Black Dagger Brotherhood release? (thank you Jacque!!) “The King: A Novel of the Black Dagger Brotherhood” is already up for pre-order, with an expected release date of March 25th 2014.
Wrath and the Brotherhood are locked in an epic battle over his throne and the very future of the vampire race.
*Squeeeeee* We’re heading back to Wrath’s story and I couldn’t be happier. Okay maybe if it were “Z” I’d have squee’d myself into a faint ;). Hehe. But as many of you know, my top three brothers include Wrath and to be able to spend a book pining for him (and hurting for him) again, thrills me to no end.
Book Review – Epilogue by CJ Roberts
Epilogue (The Dark Duet Book 3)
Sidenote: If you haven’t read the first two books in the series yet, skip this review and head over to my first review. I don’t quite “spoil” anything below, but this series is best experienced each step of the way through the eyes of the two main characters. This is the “epilogue” and you shouldn’t know this part, yet. 😉 Oh, and here is the reading order.
I think… I loved this one the most. It’s hard to say for sure considering the intense addiction I had to the first two books. I’m a book adrenaline-junkie and this series had it all. The fear-factor mixed in with the crazy intense love story/stockholm syndrome aspect that is my own brand of guilty pleasure). I’m a sucker for a sexy but true “bad guy” with a touch of that “je ne sais quoi” that gives me hope for change and this series was … my perfect read.
Book Review – Gemini by Penelope Ward
Gemini
You know what? This one was so gooood!!! Holy twist that I didn’t see coming, batman!
I mean… sure, I saw *something* coming. After all, it was no secret that there was a BIG secret to be revealed. But for the life of me, I could never have guessed that.
Kristie: Gemini by Penelope Ward was soooo amazing. One of the best so far!! Check it out!
Kandace: I finished it last night. The anticipation of the ‘secret’ nearly killed me. I had so many different theories and none of them were it.
