Hungry For You: An Argeneau Novel
OMG!! Have any of you read this yet? THIS was classic Lynsay Sands. Everything you’ve ever loved about the Argeneau’s (and crew) in past books – their wit, humor, loving side, passionate side and family side was in full force here. In fact I started this book last night (with a little trepidation considering my disappointment with her book, Born to Bite: An Argeneau Novel) and couldn’t help but read straight through until 3am. I’m exhausted (5.5 hours of sleep? I’m definitely an 8 hour girl), but as soon as I opened my eyes, I immediately started giggling again and thought to let you know I’ve lost my mind over a book!

Book Review – Outlander by Diana Gabaldon
Outlander
Frequently recommended to me (especially by my sister and niece), I decided to give this series a try, when book #1 was given away as a free e-book. What a perfect opportunity! I’ll admit, the first quarter of the book didn’t floor me, but it didn’t take much longer than that, and I was swept away into the 1700’s and didn’t want to come back 😉 No vampires, no Weres, no mystical gods in this one, however the time travel mystery that takes Claire Randall away from her home and husband to another time (and another man’s arms *gasp*) was good enough for me!
Book Review – You’re The One That I Haunt by Terri Garey

You’re the One that I Haunt (Nicki Styx, Book 3)
Yayyyyyy Sammy! I mean…Boooooo Sammy! Nobody should ever cheer for the Devil (what was I thinking?) 😉
It’s so hard to see Sammy as evil (and THE Devil, for that matter), considering my first intro to the Devil as portrayed in The Exorcist (best horror movie of all time, BTW). Yup, I had to keep reminding myself of that while I crushed and melted every time Sammy came into the picture in this one.
Book Review – Demon Possessed by Stacia Kane
Demon Possessed (Megan Chase)
This book wrapped itself around my heart, and squeezed and squeezed and squeezed! It had emotional angst, romantic tension, and life altering decisions that threw everyone, (including me) for a loop. I seriously didn’t see it coming…but then again, I never see it coming 😉 This was THE best book in the series, and one of my favorite books of the year. I would, however recommend that you read the first two before hitting this one, to get an idea of everything Meg has been through up until now, and to develop an attachment to the characters like I did. Following the series properly will allow for the reader to get the best possible “oomph” when they finally get to the part that rocked my world. You’ll be so emotionally invested by then, that you’ll feel every sting.
Book Review – Eternal Kiss of Darkness by Jeaniene Frost
Eternal Kiss of Darkness
I LOVED it! In fact, I would have easily pulled an all-nighter, but my iPad quit before I was ready to (husband didn’t recharge it for me after his day of playing with it). But it held up well. I started the book late Friday evening and read straight through until 4am. It kept me captivated, on the edge of my seat, and I *sighed* my butt off throughout.
There was just something about this couple that sucked me right in, and they felt *right*. It was tense, exciting, chilling and heartwrenchingly sad – but incredibly and believably romantic. It had just the right amount of angst. I didn’t roll my eyes once! I know I’m *feeling* the book when my reading automatically slows down and I absorb and revel in the moments – does that ever happen to you? Conchita, you had it right! It WAS to be “savored slowly like a decadent desert” 😉
