<— The ultimate of love-triangles, my friends and oh boy what an emotional, heartfelt conundrum it was!

This author is an absolute must-read-everything-she-writes author for me, so you can bet, when I received an early review copy of THIS one (paperback format!!!). I was ALL over it.

Book Review – Set In Stone by Rachel Robinson

Set In Stone
Okay first I gotta say… OMG THAT EPILOGUE. I’m in tears. TEARS. Wow!!!! As fine and even-keeled as I was with the read as a whole, that ending took my breath away. I did NOT see that coming.

It was an amazingly sweet story that you can’t know about unless you’ve read the first book (Crazy Good). If you read this review (or this book first) it will spoil the whole *shebam!!!* of the first one, and trust me, that book was awesome.

This one was a nice continuation of the story and while YES it can be read as a standalone, it shouldn’t be, because the story is SO much richer when you start from the start. So if you haven’t read “Crazy Good” yet, go do that, and skip this review. read more

Book Review – Smut by Karina Halle

Smut: A Standalone Romantic Comedy
Awwwww!!! Sexy sweetness in pure Karina Halle fashion. Oh sure, that title and sexy cover says one thing, and OMG is it ever …. HOT!!!!! But don’t let all that fool ya. It reads like our beloved new adult romance favorites. I mean, come on. We know this author well, and her romance style is fully present, here.

Grace: I really suggest you read Smut first because OMG!!! …I know I’m acting like a crazy person, but I’m being FOR REAL! The start is slow. I mean after the prologue. The PROLOGUE! It’s crazy, but then it slows down. It’s still really good writing because Karina Halle is very talented. It has a few funnies in there, but then she blows the doors off. I’m at 87% right now. ALL of my ranting has been for everything from about 18% on. JUST READ IT!!!! EVERYONE ON HERE SHOULD BE READING THIS!!!! read more

You just can’t go wrong with a beautifully written tale, penned by such an eloquent author! Amy Harmon is MUCH-loved in our indie book world, and this book is yet another example of her effortless ability to capture our hearts with her words. An author renowned for her captivating prose culminating into stunning stories, delivers, yet again.

I’d recommend this book to anyone, young and old. Such a battle to overcome (in various ways). So much hurt, shame and fear, and yet SO much love and acceptance. What a beautiful message! read more

Book Review – Dear Heart, I Hate You by J. Sterling

Dear Heart, I Hate You
You guys, this one was so very good! SO well-written (almost… tangible, real-life quality to it – as if the author lived these exact emotions, herself) traditional contemporary romance. Just pure instant-delicious spark (and yes, I KNOW that exists just with a glance – doesn’t mean insta-love but it does mean OMG HIM!!!!!). Followed by a sweet budding crush-type friendship and just enough angst to keep my heart (and my tummy) all a-flutter. Constantly. read more
