In The Warrior’s Bed
Quick Note: I read this one almost a year ago (it was a free e-book). I was still SUPER hardcore into my paranormals back then (I think this was my first foray into new territory). I decided to take a “breather” and try something new. I don’t know now, after all my recent awesome bad-boy books, if I’d still love this one as much as I did when I first read it, but I remember thinking while I was reading this, “WOW, I have been missing out…”

Book Review – The Reluctant Dom by Tymber Dalton
The Reluctant Dom (Siren Publishing Menage and More)
What!? The Reluctant Dom? Yup. It *is* what you think it is. And yes, I’m reviewing it. Consider me “The Reluctant Reviewer” today, because this is completely out of my comfort zone. But I have to tell you about it. It was recommended to me by a fellow book friend (thank you T!!), and since I had already come across it on Amazon (and it’s amazing reviews), I was already intrigued. Her gentle nudge was all it took.
And I’m going to tell you a secret. I read another one of this *type* last year, that I also loved, but I kept it quiet and hidden in the back of my brain somewhere. But I remember everything about it, and how I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days. So I’m out of the “dom-book closet”, and I’m going to review that one soon too. Now don’t get me wrong. There are PLENTY of things in this “alternative” lifestyle that I don’t get and can’t quite relate to. So don’t go and get any crazy ideas about me!! I will reiterate. It is the BOOKS that I am enjoying, not necessarily the reality of it 😉
Book Review – Providence by Jamie McGuire
Providence
A paranormal romance book that gave me quite a few palpitations! It certainly didn’t lack in the love triangle angst that I love so much. I had moments of absolute desperation for the heroine, felt her heartache and her confusion. I couldn’t help but fluctuate between what “team” I was on, in this one, because both “heroes” were so worthy of my love.. I mean Nina’s love 😉 .
Nina is from a wealthy family. Her father is the CEO of his own huge corporation, having much power and respect. Despite his powerful position in life, he adores and dotes on his daughter Nina, and she adores him back. A car crash however, ends his life, and her world turns upside down. Not only is she having to deal with her incredible grief over his loss and her emotionally distant mother, she soon realizes that she didn’t really know her father at all.
Book Review – Sweet as Sin by Inez Kelley
Sweet as Sin
This book truly is exactly as titled, sweet, but sinfully so. Very romantic. No wait. Considering the kind of hero you’re in for, I’m taking that back. Doesn’t fit. Hes really not *that* kind of guy. Let’s go with passionate, fiery, and smoldering. Yup. Perfect. And also, at a certain point, very angsty (ooooh he made me mad!! 😡 ), but just enough so that I didn’t want to put it down.
John Murphy, a slightly arrogant, confident, and somewhat indifferent bad-boy type, just moved in next door to “Livvy”. She is just his type, so he manages to put himself in her path on a regular basis, tempting her to come out and play. Of course, it’s just for “fun” and nothing more.
Book Review – For all the Right Reasons by Ann Lister

For All The Right Reasons
Don’t let the tame book cover fool you. There are rock stars in this book. 😎 Here is another “Ann Lister” rock star story that had me up all night reading (like her first book “Sheet Music” – and this one eventually ties into it). A few of you told me you really enjoyed her first one, so I thought I’d give you an update on how the second one compares. You guessed it! Overall, I loved it.
Again, I was exasperated with the characters (she’s really good at making me mad at them). The story had me wound up tight, held me captive, and it would have almost made my “favorites” list if it weren’t for something the heroine did, that to me, was absolutely unforgivable. Sure, it made for even more drama and angst, but in real life, would have had consequences that could never be taken back. What’d she do? Nuh uh. My lips are sealed.
