I read Darkness at Dawn by Devin Harnois, and man it was a really short read, but it was GOOD. Everson is a solider, a modern warrior. Hey guys. Get in here quick *darts look around*, there is something out there. I may or may not have forgotten to rinse out my blood bottles. There are herds of mosquitoes and I keep hearing noises! I’m not scared or anything, you know, cause I’m a vamp and everything, but I don’t like thinking about what it might be out there…. what if it’s Blade? Ok, ok, can we change the subject?

So, because of all the Paul Marron madness, and because it was FREE, I picked up Dangerous Highlander: A Dark Sword Novel. I have had Highlanderism before, so I know I like the men in Kilts. I was wondering if it would be paranormal or not though and that was put to rest right away. The book opens with a brief history lesson. Remember when Rome owned pretty much all of the known world? Hey Guys! Good to see you back! I’m still embarrassed that I lost the keys to Maryse’s place and locked my keys in my truck. *sigh* I would lose my head if was not attached. Book Review – Something Wicked by Michelle Rowen

Something Wicked (Living in Eden Novel, A)
It’s safe to say that I was destined to love this series, considering the book cover. Yes. I am that shallow. 😳 It was great to not have to fight for the image of the hero to create itself in my head, for once. In this series, the image was so thoughtfully provided, and what an image it is!

Darrak, an unlucky demon forged from hellfire itself, is now stuck in the human world, because once upon a time, the wicked witch of the west (well, I don’t really know *where* she was from) snatched him out of his cozy abode in hell, and trapped him. Remember that jerk “Sed” I told you about in book#1 (you know… the singer)? Pretty much the hottest guy alive (*sigh* yes – alive. Still no vampires *shrug* 😉 ). Tall, hulking and sexy as anything.
