Jackie: I just finished The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue on audio and am absolutely blown away. First off, Julia Whelan does an incredible narration. This is not my genre at all, I tend to steer clear of anything referenced as fantasy, so this took me a bit out of my comfort zone. But what a payoff, hands down the best book I’ve read in quite awhile. It’s a story to get immersed in and just so very different, all the stars-or should I say 7 stars (inside Addie LaRue joke).
The Wrong Family: A Novel
PSYCH-THRILLER ALERT!! The perfect family at least… appearance wise. 😏 Humans are fallible, and this is what the author so proficiently explores. And I LOVE HER for it. (P.S. I know… I know. I got an early review copy and it’s not LIVE yet, but not that much longer to wait… and worth the wait!)
Kiana wants book recommendations for this particular trope!! And what’s fun is I remember SO many years ago (a decade ago), when one of my best friends was hooked on romance books with pregnancies. Whenever I see new “ooops-pregnancy” book releases, I always think of Samantha. 😉
